Late and Underwhelming

I finally received my very late December Loose Button Luxe Box on Friday January 13th! The box was basically a month late in getting here, apparently Canada Post lost the my original one.
After dealing with the Luxe Box customer service for about a week and a half, they finally shipped me the replacement.  I'm disappointed to say once it got here, I was pretty underwhelmed.

The contents:
2 Lady Million perfume samples (his and hers).  The hers scent is described as "A fresh woody floral fragrance".  The his "A fresh spicy leather".
I'm not a fan of the women's perfume, and my SO has yet to try the male version.

NYX eye pencil in Black.  While it's nice this is a full sized product, everyone already owns black liner.  I wish they'd sent a more fun colour such as purple or green to try out.

Yves Rocher mandarine shower gel.  Smells similar to The Body Shops Satsuma.  Good to throw in my travel bag, but I'm not really excited to receive it.

Doctors Dermatologic Formula (DDF) Advanced Firming Cream.  This product claims to neutralize free radicals, firm and tighten and moisturize.
I haven't tried this yet, and probably won't for a while.  This is another anti-aging product. I've requested not to receive anti-aging products, but perhaps that message hasn't gotten into the right hands.

Here's hoping January's box is an improvement.

Cheers!
Sarah

  1. That's shitty! My December box was pretty good. China Glaze glitter polish, Lise Watier lip gloss, keratin hair treatment, Prada perfume, lady million perfume and a chocolate.
    Hopefully January is better!

    1. I got an email from them, looks like there might be something from Benefit in the Jan box, I'm really hoping for an improvement.

  2. I was pretty disappointed by the December luxe box too. Looks like your haul was better than mine, but I also hate receiving anti-aging products!

    1. I know! the anti-aging is so annoying, especially when you fill in you age range in their survey.
