Holiday Gift Guide, Part 4

Christmas will be here before we know it, and if you're looking to avoid the madness at the mall, I've got some gift ideas for you.  These are both fun, and wallet friendly!

#1 Do some baking.  Everyone has a bit of a sweet tooth, especially around Christmas.  Even if you're new to it, there are tons of simple recipes that are both seasonally appropriate and delicious.  Check out my favourite gingerbread man recipe here.  If you don't have all the tools listed in a recipe, improvise! A few Christmas's ago, my friend and I made these, and found ourselves without a rolling pin.  Good thing a bottle of wine, or a bottle of water can work just as well.

#2 Learn a new cocktail recipe or two to share with your friends and family.  Try out a Candy Cane Martini, Hot Toddy or Fireball Hot Chocolate.

#3 Sign up for a class with a friend or family member.  Whether its a dance class, pottery, music, you name it, taking a class together gives you dedicated time to spend with one another.

Remember it's not about the cost of the gift, it's about the thought.

Happy Holidays!
Cheers!
Sarah
